“Be Kind” is out via Astralwerks: Stream

Following the release of their collaborative smash, “Be Kind,” Marshmello and Halsey are back to share its official music video. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, who also helmed Halsey’s “Nightmare” and “Alone” clips, the contemporary dance video takes viewers to three distinct worlds. While quarantine has to be proven difficult for creative releases, Halsey learned the dance for the video on FaceTime. Watch below.

Since its release in May, “Be Kind” has already soared beyond 175 million global streams. The track also recently received remixes by Grammy-winning producer Jacques Lu Cont, and Surf Mesa, who is also fresh off his global hit “ily (i love you baby)” feat. Emilee.

This latest offering arrives after massively successful years for both artists. Marshmello’s 2019 single “Happier” featuring Bastille is now a 6x platinum hit and “Silence” with Khalid is now 4x platinum. Meanwhile, Halsey recently dropped her third album, Manic, which is already certified platinum. The album contains her 8x platinum hit “Without Me” — the most-played song of 2019 at U.S. radio and the longest-running Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit by a female artist of this century. Stream “Be Kind” on all available platforms.
