“Be Kind” is out via Astralwerks: Stream

It’s always a good Friday when two megastars collaborate on a new track. Today, multi-platinum artists Marshmello and Halsey share their new single, “Be Kind.” The anthemic song finds both artists delving deeply into their strengths as Marshmello’s production elevates Halsey’s soaring vocals.

On the track, Halsey encourages a love interest to let their walls down and to see beyond their emotions. The empowering single is complemented by atmospheric crescendos, 80s synths, and percussions. Watch the accompanying lyric video below.

Both artists will connect on Instagram Live later today to discuss the new track. This latest offering arrives after massively successful years for both artists. Marshmello’s 2019 single “Happier” featuring Bastille is now a 5x platinum hit and continues its reign as a cultural zeitgeist. Meanwhile, Halsey recently dropped her third album, Manic, which is already certified platinum. The album contains her 8x platinum hit “Without Me” — the most-played song of 2019 at U.S. radio and the longest-running Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit by a female artist of this century. Stream “Be Kind” on all available platforms.
