Sit down. Close the doors. Open your windows and watch the Super Sunset.

Rising pop queen Allie X has been snatching wigs since early 2014, but the starry-eyed starlet is now preparing to drop her biggest pop offering yet. Arriving this fall, Super Sunset is the latest album by the Canadian singer-songwriter that delivered the dark electropop delights of CollXtions I and II. Donning a chic nun outfit, Allie X announced the new album in a glitchy VHS-inspired video teaser. “Hello darling, welcome to the world of Super Sunset — a Hollywood movie starring me” the singer says before wiping a fake tear from her eye. “Four years ago, I moved to Los Angeles and my life was forever altered. This record chronicles the ups and downs of living in the City of Angels, the magic of falling in love and the utter madness one feels trying to make it.”

The album features the previously-released tracks “Focus” and “Not So Bad in L.A.,” and will be accompanied by an amazing set of visuals. Each track and video will contain its own persona and representation of the multiple sides of the beast that is Los Angeles. Allie X has also announced The Sunset Xperience, a set of intimate shows in London, Toronto, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles to properly introduce the album to her biggest Xs. Watch the single-cut analog version of “Focus” and prepare for the Super Sunset.
