“Better Off Lonely” is out via Proximity
Rising producer Nurko is back with a powerful new single, “Better Off Lonely” featuring RØRY. Capturing the loneliness felt after heartbreak, the mesmerizing track draws listeners on an immersive journey fueled by raw and visceral emotions. Building from a peacefully beautiful melody, the song soars through a hypnotizing bassline and DnB drop. Meeting with effortless harmony, the vocals and production provide a flawless showcase of Nurko’s signature sound and deep perception of expressing vulnerability in music.
“Better Off Lonely” arrives on the heels of Nurko’s latest collab with Trivecta, “You Can Be My Light” feat. Monika Santucci. At the top of the year, Nurko also revealed the compelling single, “Faith” with Dia Frampton – already amassing over a million streams. Since then, Nurko has delivered excellent remixes for industry titans ILLENIUM, Gryffin, Seven Lions, Trivecta, and more. With a slew of strong releases under his belt, Nurko shows no signs of slowing down. Collaborations with heavy hitters, Adventure Club, ILLENIUM, Dabin, and more are on the horizon, alongside an array of solo productions.
While the music world remains largely on pause, Nurko continues charging forward with his attention-demanding singles and performances. He made an impressive mark on Proximity’s Digital Mirage Virtual Festival, teasing unreleased gems while garnering over 70,000 views. In addition to a handful of virtual events, he also recently participated in Alone Together, Proximity’s benefit livestream supporting Black Mental Health Alliance, To Write Love On Her Arms, and Active Minds.
