Niall Horan Releases New Album, “Heartbreak Weather”: Stream

Heartbreak Weather is out via Capitol Records

Niall Horan’s Heartbreak Weather – named one of the most-anticipated albums of 2020 by Rolling Stone – was released today as well as the music video for its title track. Niall’s second album is currently #1 in 36 countries with his latest singles, “No Judgement” and “Nice To Meet Ya” already amassing over 200 million combined streams worldwide.

Horan recently revealed he wrote the album’s first track in October 2018 and encourages everyone to listen sequentially to truly feel the intended storyline. “Heartbreak Weather” was the first thing he wrote down while conceptualizing the new album and it gave him inspiration — “I was able to correlate my feelings with different weather patterns” he explains in a press release.

The new record is incredibly honest and emotional, yet extremely romantic – it’s everything we could’ve asked for. “Heartbreak Weather” is nearly a concept album,” explains Niall. “I wanted to write these songs from the start of a relationship through to the end — and from different sides — instead of every song being quite sad and all about me. Because when you go through a breakup, it’s not sad all the time.” The album was recorded in Los Angeles, London and the Bahamas with an all-star team that included Teddy Geiger, Julian Bunetta, Tobias Jesso Jr. and more.

Heartbreak Weather arrives as Niall wraps a weeklong residency on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he also announced the summer leg of his “Nice To Meet Ya” North American tour presented by Honda Civic and including special guests Lewis Capaldi, FLETCHER and Sam Fischer. The tour is set to begin on April 20th in Nashville, with additional dates in Atlanta, DC, Brooklyn and more.

Presale begins March 16, at 10:00 AM local time and general on-sale starts Friday, March 20, at 10:00 AM local time at LiveNation.com. Full dates below and past Niall Horan coverage here.
