Haiku Hands’ debut album due in 2020
Australian electropop collective Haiku Hands returned to D.C. in October for an insane sold-out show at 9:30 Club. The trio found themselves state-side in support of Sofi Tukker‘s latest North American tour, with dates spanning across the east coast.
Haiku Hands’ latest run arrived ahead of major news the group has lasered a deal with Mad Decent to release their 2020 debut album. The news was accompanied by the release of “Onset” – their first with the famed Diplo label.
Similar to their January single, “Dare You Not To Dance,” — Onset is an energetic and ravey electro-pop track made for the dancefloor. The song features co-production by Mad Zach and gives us our first preview of a blazing hot album in the making.

Fans of Haiku Hands are especially excited for the release of Onset as it means their already wild live performances just got a fiery new track to bounce along, scream, and dance to. As evidenced by their crazy show at 9:30 Club. With a new Diplo co-sign in-hand, let’s hope there are even more bangers on the way. Stream “Onset” and see past Haiku Hands coverage here.
