Tame Impala confirmed as Coachella 2019 headliner

Last night, the music world exploded following the release of Coachella’s 2019 lineup. While countless artists immediately shared their excitement to perform, it was headliner Tame Impala‘s “New year. New shows. New sounds.” Instagram caption that really turned heads. Yes, it’s true, Kevin Parker will soon drop Tame Impala’s highly-anticipated fourth studio album and the follow-up to 2015s Grammy-nominated, Currents.

Tame Impala’s promising news follows confirmation the band will play Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, and a handful of other festivals around Europe this summer.

As a writer and producer, Kevin Parker also continues to work with some of the biggest names in music. Since CurrentsParker has collaborated with Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Kanye West, Kali Uchis, Theophilus London, and many more. ZHU and Tame Impala also released the wavy single “My Life” in 2018.
