KIKI is out on Republic Records
Rising star Kiana Ledé releases, KIKI, a soulful R&B album with classic pop elements, a combination that she skillfully manages to pull off effortlessly. Star-studded with features by Ari Lennox, Arin Ray, Moneybagg Yo, 6lack, Lucky Daye, and more; she further complements the album’s sound with a unique mix of artists.
KIKI showcases Ledé’s growth as a vocalist who has clearly found her style since her days on YouTube. Produced by collaborator Mike Woods (Rice N’ Peas), Kiana co-wrote the entire project. Tracks from the break-out album currently have over 17 million streams with no signs of slowing down.
In acknowledgment of the world’s global COVID-19 pandemic, Kiana stated, “Music is therapy. It will always be therapy for me. I hope Kiki gives you a little entertainment while you’re stuck inside. Maybe it offers some comfort. Donate, do what you can do in your community, and stay home! Jessie J once told me, ‘Be the soundtrack for the good things you do in life, especially during the bad and shitty times.’ I tried to do that by telling a true story.”
