In our March interview, EVAN GIIA shared she was “going to focus on a few more singles” this year, and she certainly was not lying. The rising electro-pop artist returns with her new track, “Focus,” a pensive song laden with the sonic elements that make her music perfect for nearly any occasion.
On “Focus,” EVAN reflects on the parts of her life that mean the most, and the reminder to keep grounded and cherish the things that keep us happy and healthy could not be timelier. The track, which sees GIIA experimenting with layered vocals for the first time, was co-written and produced by frequent collaborators MEMBA. Who, of course, add a booming heartbeat to EVAN’s track with masterful precision. Listen below.
“Focus” is the follow-up to EVAN GIIA’s incredible single “Switch Off” and arrives with confirmation her first headline tour is rescheduled for August. The run includes a must-see U Street Music Hall performance and August 22nd hometown show at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY.
