There must be something in the water because Scandinavia continues to produce some of the best female artists in the world. Over the past few years, we’ve seen artists like MØ, Tove Lo, Sigrid, and Astrid S catapult to dizzying stardom — leaving a scorching and unrivaled path behind them. Now, we bring you the next big Scandi-name: Stine Bramsen! The Danish singer/songwriter, widely known as the frontwoman for Alphabeat, returns with ‘L.A.C.K.’ — an infectious pop track that details the comfort and love Stine seeks to surround herself with, in an increasingly volatile world.

Sometimes you have to create a vacuum around yourself and the ones you love to simply shut out the hate, violence, and inhumanity we see around the world every day. ‘L.A.C.K.’ is about how difficult it can be to find the right balance of being in this mad world with an aching heart while allowing yourself to be happy and present, right where you are.

‘L.A.C.K.’ is the first single off Stine’s forthcoming sophomore effort, and the first since the singer topped the Danish charts with her debut album in 2015. Watch the accompanying video below or stream here!
