Sucker Punch is out March 1 on Island Records

Norweigan pop sensation Sigrid has announced her debut album, Sucker Punch, will be out early next year. While the BBC’s Sound of 2018 winner is yet to announce the full tracklisting, the album will include 2017s pop anthem “Strangers,” the earth-shattering “Don’t Kill My Vibe” – which launched the young singer beyond the pop stratosphere last year – as well as “Dynamite” and the album’s title track, “Sucker Punch.”

“I figured out early on that it’s going to be difficult for me to try and be anything other than who I am. I always said if I’m going to do this it’s easiest to be myself and look like myself, where I can recognize myself,” says Sigrid

Sucker Punch follows a massive year and a half for Sigrid, which included a VMA nomination for “MTV Push Artist of the Year,” sold-out shows in NYC, LA, and performing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The pop prodigy will now kick-off 2019 with a headlining show at Brooklyn Steel on February 20, before joining George Ezra on the road in March and touring across the UK and Europe with Maroon 5 in June.
