The first year of the Covid-19 pandemic (so weird to even think of it in those terms) brought the world together in every sense of the word. Whether working remotely, celebrating events virtually, locked down with family, roommates, or a partner, for some, long pandemic days were spent cultivating relationships in new ways. As is the case for Jeff Draco, who recently shared “Fall For Another Day,” a dreamy alt-pop love song about long distance relationships.

Longing to be by his partner’s side and reaffirming his love on the track, FFAD is the 21-year-old Maryland native delivering his most love-soaked and relatable lyrics yet. The indie serenade is driven by an upbeat melody and finds Draco developing his illustrative songwriting and knack for constructing bright, memorable soundscapes fueled by elaborate guitar and drum work.

Following on his nostalgic summer single, Jeff Draco’s new song arrives as “Dreamgirl” surpasses 50k streams. Already gaining support from Wonderland, Ones to Watch, and Global Money World, Jeff Draco’s new single is a definite must-hear.

Reflecting on the track, Jeff Draco shares: “this song is very personal for me and has my whole heart in it. i feel like it’s more vulnerable than some of my other work. i had a ton of finished demos, a lot of which experimented with slightly different styles/sounds prior to writing “Fall For Another Day,” but felt like FFAD was how i wanted to move forward with my sound. it includes a lot of my ‘signature’ sounds in terms of FX and tone but introduces some new elements in style. i wanted to create something with a lot of energy. this song also set a baseline for how i’ve approached all songs i’ve written since.”

Emerging in early 2018 with “On My Mind” and “Don’t Keep Me Waiting Around,” Jeff followed up with the release of his debut album, Paradise that same September. He’s accumulated 400k+ streams in just over two years, with his 2019 single, “For Too Long” picking up 170k+ streams on Spotify alone. The song, which features on Jeff’s 2019 EP, 2101, was followed by “Last Night” in 2020, which landed on Spotify’s coveted metropolis playlist.

Having toured the U.S. east coast in 2019, Jeff also had an opportunity to play at Firefly Festival 2019 and across multiple venues in the DC area. In September, Jeff headlined the first show at Songbyrd DC’s new location in Union Market, playing alongside Moontide Gallery and The Never Ending Fall. He also opened for Austin Weber in November on the DC stop of Weber’s headline tour.

Attracting 3 million+ views and 400k+ likes on TikTok in 2021, Jeff Draco is also quickly becoming a social media sensation and dynamic artist harnessing a unique balance between his music and carefree posting. With more music on the way, Jeff Draco is an artist you can’t miss. Stream “Fall For Another DayHERE.
