Life Is Beautiful returns on September 20-22: TICKETS
Las Vegas’ Life Is Beautiful Festival announced their lineup for September’s big weekend and it’s a head-turner. Aside from delivering headliners Chance the Rapper, The Black Keys, and Post Malone, the festival has lined up a few artists you may not find on another festival billing this year. Here are the five artists that have us packing our bags and ready for Life Is Beautiful 2019.
Banks
Alt-R&B goddess Banks had a major comeback this week with her unapologetic new single, “Gimme.” With a third album and the follow-up to 2016’s The Altar clearly on the way, one of Banks’ only confirmed festival sets of the year will be an exclusive must-see moment at Life Is Beautiful 2019.
Die Antwoord
Last year, prolific South African duo Die Antwoord announced their forthcoming fifth studio album, 27 would be their last and feature 27 tracks with various collaborations. While fans of “Baby’s on Fire” and “I Fink U Freeky” continue to wipe their tears, Life Is Beautiful 2019 may be one of your only chances to catch the Zef duo at a U.S. festival this year. We’re especially excited following today’s release of “DntTakeMe4aPoes.”
Lewis Capaldi
Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi may be the next Ed Sheeran after selling out his entire UK arena tour in under ten minutes. With his guitar in hand, the young artist has exploded over the last two years, notching nearly one billion streams on Spotify and a UK #1 with his incredible 2018 single, “Someone You Loved.” With Capaldi’s debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent due on May 17, this future headliner’s set at Life Is Beautiful 2019 will be one for the books.
Gallant
It’s hard to believe it’s been three years since this Maryland native graced our ears with his booming runaway single, “Weight in Gold” and subsequent debut album, Ology. While we’ve gotten collaborations with Dua Lipa, Noah Cyrus, Sufjan Stevens, and a few singles since then, after canceling his 2018 tour, Gallant’s set at Life Is Beautiful 2019 will surely deliver some long-awaited and unreleased surprises.
070 Shake
You may not already know rapper/producer 070 Shake (aka Danielle Balbuena) but you will sooner than you think. Aside from her killer 2018 debut EP Glitter, the New Jersey-born rapper is already racking up impressive credits for her work on Kanye West‘s Ye, Pusha-T‘s Daytona, and Nas‘ Nasir. Quickly climbing the ranks of untouchable hip-hop artists, this rising star will undoubtedly drop a must-see set at Life Is Beautiful 2019.
Life Is Beautiful returns to downtown Las Vegas on September 20-22 with major performances by Billie Eilish, Vampire Weekend, Zedd, Lil Wayne, Janelle Monáe, and more. See the full lineup and purchase tickets here.
