“Head Start” is available now: Stream

Rising pop artist Drew Schueler has shared his new single, “Head Start.” The track recounts the pain of a crumbling love affair and the immediate aftermath. Guided by a delicate piano and synths, the heart-wrenching ballad captures another aspect of Schueler’s great songwriting and charismatic vocals. The single arrives with a music video directed by Toby Canning. See below.

“Head Start” is Drew’s second solo single of the year following the release of “Can’t Say (Word Like That).” The latter track was recently named a Top 10 finalist in the NSAI Song Contest. Schueler also recently collaborated with Addy Ace & Vic Roz on their single, “Views,” which has amassed over one million streams.

Since first emerging in 2018, the Nashville-based pop artist has shared a handful of singles and opened for artists like The Mowgli’s and St. Lucia. He also toured Europe with Rag‘n’Bone Man as a musician playing for the opening artist previously known as BETTI and toured playing keys for Riley Clemmons. His upcoming compilation is the follow-up to his 2018 debut EP, New Perspective. With a sound akin to LAUV and Jon Bellion, Drew Schueler is definitely an artist to keep an eye on.
