BUKU: Planet B 2021 is creating a world we want to live in

BUKU: Planet B 2021

BUKU: Planet B 2021 returns October 22-23: Tickets

After a year of virtual vibing at festivals from home, it’s time to take a trip to Planet B! New Orleans welcomes the Buku Music & Arts Festival back on October 22nd-23rd at the Market Street Power Plant grounds & ENMCC. Buku: Planet B is a new iteration of the festival we have all come to love, created with equal parts of art, music, and innovation.

Instead of waiting until 2022 or giving New Orleans the same experience in March, the BUKREWE created Planet B with a new recipe so you can experience the festival with a lower capacity for attendees in a new and unique venue. This venue change and size allows the BUKREWE to hold the festival directly outside of the Market Street Power Plant and on the historic grounds of the old TwiRoPa venue.

You can expect the same high energy with a new desire to thrive in a space that embraces the chaos of our world and creates a world we want to live in! I know that I can’t be the only one who has been looking forward to feeling the pure joy of singing your favorite song at the top of your lungs with a complete stranger. That feeling will be recreated this fall in New Orleans with a new twist on the art installations, stage designs, site layout, and overall creative direction.

The lineup dropped earlier this week, June 8th, and it did not disappoint. If you thought last year was about to be a Hot Girl Summer, you better keep that momentum for Hot Girl Fall with Megan thee Stallion and many other popular headliners. With talented acts from all different genres, from EDM artists like Illenium to Machine Gun Kelly and rap power-house Playboi Carti, this lineup will have Planet B selling out quickly. Many New Orleans local favorites like AF the Naysayer and Bawldy will also be playing the festival, which is exciting to early critics of the festival lineup.

Some other notable names on the lineup include Kaytranada, Zeds Dead, Alison Wonderland, Jamie XX, Pooh Sheisty, Chris Lake, EarthGang, Ghostmane, Subtronics, LSDream, and Tvboo. Check out the entire lineup below and pre-register for tickets for Buku: Planet B on October 22nd and 23rd, 2021.
