Doom Days is out on Virgin EMI
English indie-rockers Bastille will be kicking off their North American headline tour tonight at The Met in Philadelphia. The extensive tour runs through October, with dates confirmed at NYC’s Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, The Anthem in DC, Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and many more. The “Quarter Past Midnight” crooners are touring in support of their third studio album, Doom Days, which arrived in June and has already spawned three additional singles: “Joy,” “Those Nights” and the record’s title track. Upon its release, the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Album Sales chart and in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200. Stream below.
Doom Days takes listeners on a big night out in search of distraction from the surrounding apocalypse. The effort follows a massive year for the band. Their 2018 collaborative single “Happier” with Marshmello is an unstoppable international hit. The track is certified 5x Platinum in the U.S. and has sold more than 15 million units in the rest of the world, surpassed 3.5 billion streams, and topped charts globally. It has spent 50 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic.
