Bad Bunny and Rosalía on SNL is living rent-free in my head

Last night, ’24/7 champion’ Bad Bunny made his first appearance as the musical guest on SNL, and it was everything. Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía joined Benito for a steamy performance of their duet “La Noche de Anoche.” No doubt, it’ll be living rent-free in my head this week. He then returned for a mellow, rock-tinged cut of his song, “Te Deseo Lo Mejor.” Watch below.

Both songs are off Bad Bunny’s third album, El Último Tour Del Mundo. Which, upon its November release, became the first all-Spanish-language album to top the US Billboard 200. The album, alongside YHLQMDLG, also helped the Puerto Rican rapper become Spotify’s most-streamed artist of the year (2020), another first for a non-English language act.

Whether he’s jumping off the WWE tightrope, owning the stage, or joining hilarious SNL skits, Bad Bunny is no stranger to delivering excellent performances. Last year, he made headlines for advocating against a trans hate crime while on The Tonight Show. He’s also graced the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show alongside Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.

In addition to SNL, this year, the superstar is up for his first two GRAMMYs, including Best Latin Pop or Urban Album for YHLQMDLG and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for his J Balvin, Dua Lipa, and Tainy collab, “Un Dia (One Day).” See more Bad Bunny coverage here.
