September EP is available now: Stream
Australian artist Akurei is back to share his sophomore EP, September. The release is led by his new single “Quarter Tank Full,” a smooth track that blends stunning R&B/electronic sounds and sees co-production by long-time collaborator Golden Vessel. Check it out below.
The new EP features the previously-unreleased “Clockwork” and 2019 singles, “Stockholm” and “Hollow.” Encapsulating the “soundtrack to a quarter-life crisis” – according to Akurei – the new effort was written over several months in “hostels, Airbnbs, and living rooms” across Europe while documenting a spectrum of emotions the artist felt while away from home for an extended period.
