On “Can’t Tame Her,” Larsson’s sound, visuals, and storytelling have taken a bold step forward while capturing the irrepressibly positive attitude that has gotten her to where she is today. The release marks the launch of Larsson’s newly formed alliance between her own Sommer House label and Epic/Black Butter Records. In addition, the 25-year-old artist has recently taken control of her recording catalog, which has generated over 9 billion streams, with the deal earning headlines worldwide and marking the next chapter for one of Sweden’s most exciting exports.

With every move, Larsson continues to quietly make history and break records. Her platinum-certified debut album, So Good, is one of the most-streamed debuts on Spotify by a female artist ever, and her growing catalog boasts one smash hit after another, from “Never Forget You,” “Lush Life,” “Ain’t My Fault” to “Symphony,” leading to awards and nominations from the Swedish Grammys, BRITS, and MTV EMAs, and even gracing the stage of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Following her early success, Larsson’s 2020 album, Poster Girl, featured massive hits like “Ruin My Life” and “Wow,” and saw her push boundaries during the Covid-19 pandemic by performing virtually for Roblox and hosting a viral live-stream show in partnership with Ikea on International Women’s Day. The last year or so has seen Larsson unleashed back into the real world, playing a sold-out European arena tour and scoring a hit collaboration with Alesso (“Words” was named one of the best dance records of 2022 by Billboard). Now sharing the first offering from her highly-anticipated third album, it’s clear Zara Larsson is gearing up for one of her most thrilling eras yet. Stream “Can’t Tame Her” HERE.
