“Ride” is out on DEADBOY$CLUB
Liverpool’s The Post Romantics are back to share “Ride,” the emo dark-pop follow-up to their debut single, “Call It Off.” The track was recorded at the iconic Motor Museum in Liverpool with Al Groves (Bring Me The Horizon) and hip-hop producer Cal Cowie. Stream the single below.
With “Ride,” the rising band – comprised of brothers Connor, Cameron, and Liam Cockbain, and their childhood friend, Sam Barton – continue to experiment with a sick blend of moody guitars, heavy beats, and sultry emo-R&B vibes, creating an intriguing soundscape for an emotional tale of love, lust, and manipulation.
The new single arrives on the heels of the band playing a handful of sold-out gigs across the UK, with a set confirmed at Chances Festival in Oxfordshire on September 14 and a headline gig confirmed for the 20th at Phase One in Liverpool. Tickets are available here and revisit TPR’s “Call It Off” lyric video below if you missed it in August.
