“Night Goggles” is out on Mind of a Genius: Stream

NY-based producer and vocalist Mindchatter has shared his latest single and video, “Night Goggles.” The track is a dreamy and otherworldly journey, imbued with soothing vocals and sophisticated instrumentals. Building on the success of his tracks, “Scared to Go Home,” and “Language,” the emerging artist continues to draw listeners in with ingenious lyricism and transcendent melodies.

“Night Goggles” arrives with a music video that juxtaposes dreary NYC with warm sunsets and open spaces. Created by Vietnamese director Wiiki Vicki and French director Robin Mahieux, the video uses a real dancer wearing a ROKOKO stop motion smartsuit to achieve the fluid, dream-like choreography depicted throughout. Watch below.

“Night Goggles is a metaphor for seeing the world through a completely different lens,” Mindchatter shares. At night, when I’m most creative, I sometimes recognize the transience of life and the triviality of my worries. It’s an incredibly liberating feeling – and one that I hope many people experience – but it’s always fleeting, so I tried to bottle it up in a song.”

In just over a year, Mindchatter has quickly become an artist to watch. In addition to already amassing over 4 million streams, he’s received support from BBC Radio’s Pete Tong and toured the U.S. with Parisian electro duo Polo & Pan. A sought-after remixer, he recently put his signature spin on Channel Tres’ “Weedman” and AMTRAC’s “Stratego.” With a handful of strong releases and a debut album releasing this fall on Mind of a Genius, Mindchatter clearly has something special on the way.
