How To Be Human is out via Republic Records
Chelsea Cutler is finally sharing her long-anticipated debut album, How To Be Human. The rising singer-songwriter first teased the project with its title track in August, later unveiling “You Are Losing Me,” “Lucky” w/ Alexander 23, and “I Was In Heaven.” Generating much-deserved buzz throughout a huge 2019 and leading to today’s release.
How To Be Human features 16 tracks in total, 13 of which Chelsea produced herself. Known for her relatable lyrics and unique production, on her debut album, Cutler establishes a sound that is unapologetically sad, but hopeful.

For avid fans, it’s known that with every release, she pours out her heart and soul. From the struggles to the success, the love, and the hurt, each track highlights a very relatable aspect of the journey that is navigating her 22-year-old life.
How To Be Human sets itself apart from Chelsea’s previous releases, with an overall more uptempo feel that features the perfect blend of electronic production and colorful guitar-laden tracks. Her unique vocal prowess, lyricism, and distinct instrumentation are perfectly showcased in the culmination of what is now Chelsea’s hit debut album, How To Be Human.
In February, Chelsea will embark on a 22-date headline tour in support of her debut album. The run kicks off in Texas on the 13th and ends with double weekends at Coachella. Fans in Europe will then get to see the rising star through May. See all dates below and purchase tickets here.
