Have U Seen Her? is out via Sony Music Germany/RCA Records
Alt-pop artist ALMA has released her debut album, “Have U Seen Her?” a record about “finding your place and your people in the world, feeling valued,” featuring her recent single “LA Money.”
Whether you want to forget about fake friends (LA Money) or party (Worst Behaviour), this incredibly honest and versatile album. It surely holds something for you. “Worst Behaviour” is the only collab on the record featuring Tove Lo. Although it’s not their first collaboration, they delivered yet another fantastic track.
According to ALMA, “LA Money” is “the core of this album.” It tells a story of feeling like you’re not where you want to be in life as well as finally realizing what’s been missing. Eventually, the only way to feel complete is to do whatever feels right without letting others control you.
Not only is ALMA a unique talent, but she also makes sure to speak up about important topics. She discusses mental health, body positivity, and sexuality. She truly opened up in this record. “King of the Castle” is about being tired of the newfound fame, which is something a lot of artists struggle with and is vital to raise awareness.
She recently co-wrote Miley Cyrus’s new EP, She Is Coming, and has worked with Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, and Charli XCX. It is safe to say that the 23-year-old artist is making a name for herself as a songwriter as well. Overall, ALMA has “found a happier place through making music, somewhere I want to be.” Stream Have U Seen Her? on all available platforms.
