“Fashion Ho” is out via Flat Pop Records
Rising artist CHAV returns with their latest single, “Fashion Ho.” A campy anthem exploring themes of desire, fashion, and attention over a delicious bubblegum pop beat. In addition to being the perfect vibe for anybody dolling up for their quarantined video chats, the song is also just a fun, and irresistibly carefree record that’ll inspire you to dance the night away.
“Fashion Ho” is produced by Brett Castro and Eric Trudel. It’s CHAV’s first release of the year following 2019s “London, Baby” – an electro-R&B infused bop layered with dreamy synths and attention-demanding vocals. With sonic versatility, nuanced awareness of evocative songwriting and a pulse on the future of pop, these tracks are clearly just the beginning for CHAV.
Collectively, the tracks introduce Totally, the forthcoming debut album due on Flat Pop Records later this year. Co-conceptualized by CHAV and Rick Marcello, Flat Pop was founded on the principles of providing a platform for the world’s most oppressed communities, such as POC, queer, and femme artists. The releases follow a busy year for the rising artist, which included joining Dorian Electra‘s headline tour, opening for Allie X in Chicago, and dancing for Charli XCX and Brooke Candy.
