PREMIERE: Maximillian Releases “Hollow Days”

Maximillian’s “Hollow Days” is out Friday via Copenhagen Records

By now, it’s no secret Scandinavia produces some of the most promising pop acts in the world. Among those determined to set their path ablaze is 19-year-old Danish singer Maximillian. The young artist first caught international attention last year with his smooth R&B-inspired debut single “Higher,” which quickly notched over 1 million Spotify streams. His singles “Feelings” and “Strangers” followed shortly after, welcoming similar success and leading to Maximillian signing with Virgin EMI (UK) in late 2017.

Now, the rising Scandi-pop artist returns with his first single of the year, “Hollow Days.” The ethereal electronic track finds the soulful singer at his most honest and vulnerable yet — with “I realize / I just wanna make things right” opening an earworm chorus that will have you dancing and clicking replay to no exhaust.

Hollow Days is about fighting your own mixed emotions and how you sometimes leave certain important parts of your life out – and then realize that living without it makes you hollow. This is a note to self – a reminder, not to give up on what I’ve got so easily.

Maximillian’s new single will be available on all streaming services tomorrow (May 11), but you can catch the video streaming below now.
