Watch the song’s accompanying visualizer below.
‘’Epiphany’ is about realisations,” shares Boku on the new song. “My gut has always figured out things quicker than my head and I’m always trying to play catch up with it.”
Drawing inspiration from personal experiences has evoked robust emotions for the rising producer, which are clearly felt throughout Boku’s latest track. While minimal lyrics are found on the nearly 3-minute release, the vibrant melody guides listeners on a journey that is euphoric and invigorating.
Hailing from the land of the Irish, Ian Ring has been operating under the moniker Boku since 2019. The name derives from a word meaning “I” and came from a time in Ring’s life when he had recently ended a long-term relationship. While working under this identity, Ring has gone as far as to earn multiple Choice Music Prize nominations for Irish Album of the Year. BBC Radio 1 has also shown the Ring’s project some love, along with some major labels as well. With more music on the way, one thing is for certain, Boku is an artist you can’t miss this year.
