Artist proceeds from the Savage Remix will benefit The Bread Of Life COVID-19 relief efforts
Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé just surprise-released a remix of “Savage” and it’s a scorcher. Drenched in female empowerment, hard-hitting boss lyricism, and unmatched strength, the remix delivers bar after bar of total heat from the pair. Did you expect anything less from Houston’s finest?
Megan and Beyoncé have also announced their share of proceeds will benefit their hometown through Bread of Life, Inc. The organization was founded in 1992 and is known for serving hot meals to homeless individuals in the sanctuary of St. John’s United Methodist Church in downtown Houston. Since then, they’ve responded to multiple crises and disasters, including Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Harvey.
From the start of the recent pandemic, Bread of Life’s services have spanned distributing 14 tons of produce, shelf-stable food, and other supplies to 500 families each week via a drive-through distribution process. They’ve also delivered food to 100 homebound seniors each week while working on hiring social workers and aligning telehealth programs for high-risk individuals to access help, and more.
“Savage” is Megan’s latest viral hit from her EP, Suga. The track has taken a life of its own with a widely popular TikTok challenge. Now with Beyoncé gracing the track with her versatile flow, it’s undoubtedly going to explode. See past Megan Thee Stallion coverage here. Savage Remix is out via 300 Entertainment.
