Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent is out via Vertigo Berlin

Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi just landed his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with the inescapable breakout single “Someone You Loved.” The track, which topped the U.K. Singles chart for a nearly unprecedented seven weeks, reaches the summit in its 24th week on the tally. Marking the first No. 1 single from a debut U.K. artist since ZAYN‘s “Pillowtalk” in February 2016.

“Someone You Loved” is featured on the fastest-selling UK debut album of 2019, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent. The album arrived in May ahead of Capaldi’s sold-out headline tour of North America, garnering over 2.6 billion streams and 1.5 million adjusted album sales to date.

Lewis Capaldi will continue touring Europe for the rest of this year and the beginning of 2020. Fans wanting to hear “Grace,” “Bruises,” the chart-topping “Someone You Loved,” and others may have difficulties as his March 2020 tour of the UK and Ireland sold out in seconds. Making Capaldi the first artist in history to sell out arenas prior to the release of a debut album. See the full dates here.
