TO FEEL ALIVE EP is out via Virgin EMI/Interscope
Kali Uchis returns today with a powerful 4-track EP, TO FEEL ALIVE. The collection of demos were recently made during her time in quarantine. Though Kali’s second studio album is due later this year, she’s giving fans more than enough to enjoy for now.
In just four tracks, the Colombian-American artist demonstrates her incredible range. From the lullaby-like melody of “honey baby (SPOILED!)” to the sweet high octaves of the title track, Uchis shows she’s simply one of the best out there right now. Listen below.
Speaking on the new release, Uchis shares: “I hope I can offer some solace to you with this EP I’ve put together in my room in quarantine, and I can’t wait to share my real album with you soon.” She goes on to say, “please take care of your hearts, minds, bodies, and souls. Love xx Uchis.”
The TO FEEL ALIVE EP arrives after weeks of the alt-R&B songstress performing her songs, covers, and unreleased tracks on her Instagram Live. A true treat for fans, the EP arrives following her 2019 single “Solita” and is her first new music of 2020.
