“Somebody” is out via Universal/Ingrooves
There’s no better euphoria than having a budding love interest. It can feel like you’re on top of the world when their name pops up on your phone or while going for a starlit joyride. On Swedish pop artist Dagny‘s new single, “Somebody,” the rising star relishes the rushing emotions of newfound love over sparkling synths and a dancefloor-ready beat. The track arrives with a TUSK-directed video showing the singer enjoying life in various clips. Watch below.
The new song is the second offering off Dagny’s highly-anticipated debut album. Due for a two-part release, Side A was first teased with “Come Over,” and will feature four additional tracks arriving on May 22nd. Side B will then drop later in September.
Over the last few years, Dagny has solidified her space among some of the best Europop stars. Already exceeding over 450 million streams, the Norweigan artist’s music recently landed her nominations for Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2019 Spellemannprisen Awards (Norwegian Grammys). In addition to her many accolades, Dagny also recently co-wrote Katy Perry‘s “Never Really Over” – again confirming her undeniable talent as a songwriter.
