“Beso” is out via Sony Music Latin
Latin group CNCO returns today with a surprise release called “Beso.” The track has all of the elements of a memorable urban pop song, with a melody highlighted by mellow guitars, a bumping reggaeton beat, and hypnotic lyrics. Arriving following the success of their song, “Honey Boo” with Natti Natasha, the two releases preview the band’s anticipated third album, which is currently still in progress.
Fans excited by CNCO’s new single can see the world premiere performance of “Beso” happen this Sunday, August 30th, at the 2020 MTV VMAs. Making their second appearance following a 2019 pre-show performance, the group will take the main stage at a US award show for the first time to drop their new hit. CNCO also received three nominations this year for “Best Group,” “Best Quarantine Performance” and ‘Best Choreography” for “Honey Boo.”
CNCO’s new singles arrive in anticipation of a third album that is still in progress. Their latest EP, Que Quiénes Somos was released last year and featured the songs “De Cero” and “Pegao,” among others. The group first smashed through the stratosphere with their single, “Reggaeton Lento (Bailemos)” in 2016.
