On August 20th, Puerto Rican megastar Bad Bunny made history as his aptly-titled World’s Hottest Tour touched down at Soldier Field in Chicago.

A meteoric rise that has culminated in a Rolodex of hits, the artist born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio is currently touring in support of Un Verano Sin Ti – Bad Bunny’s second U.S. number-one album and the second all-Spanish language album to top the Billboard chart (among countless other accolades).

A night fitted with a team of energetic backup dancers, sky-illuminating fireworks, pyro, confetti, and even a surprise appearance from Latin legend Ivy Queen, Bad Bunny’s first-ever stadium tour is an elaborate production. Delivering pure beach vibes, mounds of sand, tall palm trees, and a massive square stage welcomed the 50,000+ fans pouring into Soldier Field – each equipped with LED wristbands that beamed in sync with the music throughout the evening.

One of two artists with over 100 tracks surpassing 100 million Spotify streams, the anticipation of the night’s setlist was met with a career-spanning, powerhouse performance that had the crowd chanting, perreando, and reacting to every song with peakless energy. It felt like every song that played was someone’s favorite song, which made being among perhaps the largest sea of Bad Bunny fans most in attendance will ever experience even more enjoyable and special.

From album favorites “Moscow Mule” and “Me Porto Bonito” to “Party” and “Tití Me Preguntó,” fans were treated to a majority of the inescapable tracks that have spawned from Un Verano Sin Ti. Clocking in over 20-30+ songs in his set, including future classics like “DÁKITI” and “Yonaguni,” fans experienced arguably some of the best, genre-expanding music released in the past five years. A massive celebration of one of music’s brightest stars surging to new career pinnacles, the night was a major career highlight for the 28-year-old artist as he conquered Chicago’s Soldier Field with confidence and the support of a sold-out stadium.

Bad Bunny’s World’s Hottest Tour continues through 2022. See photos from the show below and all future tour dates here.
