Desire, I Want To Turn Into You is out now on Perpetual Novice. Nobody in pop has both the weirdo credentials and voice that Caroline Polachek has. She’s intrigued listeners over the years as one-half of Chairlift, as the electronic/ambient Ramona Lisa (her post-Chairlift solo project), and as a person yelling at a flock of geese.

In fact, it’s the only night that both acts were playing under one roof on their respective tours, bringing wild-dressed fans of all ages to a special night at The Anthem that opened with New York duo
