DC-based duo April + Vista sure put on one hell of a show. April’s smooth and bluesy voice perfectly complements the genre-bending productions of Matt Vista, and it only sounds better in a live setting. Thankfully, I just got to see them perform recently!
Last month, rising R&B/electro-soul artists April + Vista took their debut album You Are Here on the road alongside the iconic Little Dragon. The Swedish band was on a promotional tour in support of their newest Lover Chanting EP and the short stint found April + Vista opening two sold-out nights at Brookyln’s Elsewhere, two sold-out nights at DC’s Rock & Roll Hotel, and a show at Boston’s TD Garden with Gorillaz and Little Dragon.
Soon after their short stint with Little Dragon, April + Vista embarked on a quick promotional tour in Europe — completing a series of shows and radio interviews in the UK and beyond. Check out our photos from the show below and stream You Are Here. You won’t regret it.
