WurlD’s Afrosoul EP is due May 15th via Platoon
Nigerian artist WurlD is sharing his new single “Ghost Town,” a rich fusion of soul and African pop led by strong vocals and crisp, heartfelt lyricism. The track arrives with a powerful live performance for COLORS and follows last week’s release of “Love Nobody.”
Both songs will appear on WurlD’s upcoming EP, Afrosoul, due May 15th via Platoon. In addition to the songs mentioned, Afrosoul will also feature the unreleased tracks “National Anthem (Growing Wings),” “Story,” “Can’t Come Outside,” and “Birthday Song/Palmwine Riddim.”
WurlD first cut his teeth as a songwriter for major industry artists like B.o.B., Akon, Mario, and others, but these latest releases demonstrate his strength independently as a lead artist. His unique and eclectic sound is as captivating as his voice, making for a compelling journey with each listen. His new EP follows 2019s collaborative project ILGWT with award-winning Nigerian producer Sarz. Stream GHOST TOWN here.
