Wolf Alice are going back on tour, see the dates below
Following a few tour dates in Australia, Wolf Alice stopped by triple j’s Like A Version studio to perform their beautiful track “Don’t Delete The Kisses.” The same track the band used to open their epic show in DC last July. While in the studio, Ellie mentioned the track being about “letting go of any inhibitions in love” and an analogy for love in the modern age. In addition to their performance of DDTK, the London rockers covered Charli XCX’s pop anthem “Boys.” Given they’re one of the best bands around, they also casually slipped in a few verses of The Cure’s “Boys Don’t Cry.” It’s brilliant, and you need to check it out.
The cover comes on the heels of a few recent Wolf Alice / XCX crossovers. In December 2017, Charli stopped by the studio and delivered a fantastic future-pop and auto-tune heavy reinterpretation of “Don’t Delete The Kisses.” A few weeks later, Charli XCX and Post Precious dropped a full remix of the Wolf Alice anthem. The song was featured in January’s Keep Me Buzzin’ playlist update. Perhaps, Wolf Alice will release an official cut of their cover, or play it again live.
The band is embarking on a another massive world tour in support of their highly successful album Visions Of A Life. The dates include a stop at Governors Ball in New York, Welcome to Rockville Festival in Florida, and stops with Queens Of The Stone Age. Europe and Asia follow, with dates spanning through the end of summer.
