She’s the Best is out October 9 via Interscope.

Troye Sivan released “Party” today, the second single from his fourth album, She’s the Best. The song lets feeling and an irresistibly fun house beat take the lead while Sivan lyrically gallivants through a night with no end in sight.

The song arrives with a music video directed by Gordon von Steiner, taking the song to another level entirely. It opens with a movie-grade war scene, a voiceover from Sir Ian McKellen, and Sivan in metal armor on a horse. What follows is an opulent Victorian summer garden party: dancing, mischief, excess.

Spicing up the track is a sample of Madonna’s “Music,” with Sivan lifting a line about music leveling the room and setting it loose, all while inside this maximalist Victorian fever dream. It’s a tasteful pull, and a timeless cut. Those synths sound just as hot as they did when they first dropped and Sivan incorporated it just right.

“Party” follows “She’s the Best,” the album’s title track, which came with its own cinematic video starring Nicole Kidman. Two videos in, this era is feeling as much a visual project as a musical one.

Sivan’s last album, Something to Give Each Other, arrived in 2023 with “Rush,” “One of Your Girls” and “Got Me Started,” before closing out with the iconic SWEAT Tour alongside Charli xcx.
