Taylor Swift has released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which she announced while accepting her 13th Grammy Award earlier this year– a Best Pop Vocal Album win for her 2022 album, Midnights. The release is led by “Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)” and its music video premieres tonight at 8 p.m. ET.

The Tortured Poets Department contains 16 tracks, including notable collaborations like “Florida!!! (feat. Florence + the Machine)”. The innovative approach to this release, combining digital engagement with fan interaction, underscores Swift’s ongoing ability to reinvent herself and blaze an innovative path.

In the run-up to this release, Swift’s promotional strategies once again captured significant attention with Forbes highlighting social media and streaming giants vying for the attention of Swift’s massive fanbase. Apple Music, for instance, teased Swifties with daily lyrical clues that led to decoding phrases related to the album.

Instagram also stepped up their capabilities by introducing an innovative swipe down feature that revealed the album’s name on Swift’s profile, not only heightening the excitement for the release but also seamlessly linking to Threads and encouraging fans to follow Swift’s inactive, parked page.

This new album follows Taylor’s Eras Tour, the highest-grossing tour of all time and the first tour to surpass $1 billion in revenue, and is available on all streaming platforms. Listen here.
