“Vicious” is out via Ministry of Sound

Tate McRae has shared her latest single, “Vicious” featuring Lil Mosey. The track summons the alluring dark pop vibes and flirty, sharp lyricism quickly distinguishing Tate’s sound. On the track, the rising star describes the power struggle of a difficult relationship. Through the emotional highs and lows, McRae regains her strength and shakes off the dead weight. Mosey also adds a smooth tone with his verse, creating a charming contrast to Tate’s airy vocals.

“Vicious” arrives with a lyric video showing clips of Tate in her bedroom and animations of her superheroine alter ego. The video was shot by Tate and directed by Katia Temkin and Shannon Beveridge. Watch below.

Following the release of “you broke me first,”  Tate’s latest single is another must-hear preview of her upcoming EP. The track was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Mark Nilan. Collectively, the singles are further pushing a future star in the making. In January, Tate’s breakout EP, all the things i never said, delivered total bops. From “that way” and “stupid” to “all my friends are fake” and “tear myself apart,” the EP took heavy pop to another level. Now, she’s gearing up to do it all over again and you won’t want to miss it.
