Sueños Festival extends contract with City of Chicago for five years
One of the best music weekends to emerge recently, Sueños Festival, has made a major announcement today. After three historic years of bringing some of the best rising and established Latin artists in the world to the heart of Chicago, organizers announced today they’ve reached a deal with the Chicago Parks District to return to Grant Park for five more years, with an option to extend for five more.
The new deal also includes the option for the festival to expand from two to three days.
Sueños Festival’s new deal with Chicago Parks affirms its status as a burgeoning cultural and economic institution in its home city. Sueños provides hundreds of jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars worth of economic impact to the city each year. The festival’s economic impact on Chicago doubled since its inaugural year in 2022, from $120.9 million during its first festival to $243.7 million in 2024.
