Ryan Castro Performs Hit Medley, Previews J Balvin Collab at Premio Lo Nuestro 2026
Ryan Castro delivered one of the night’s most electrifying moments at this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro, performing his hits “La Villa” and “Ba Ba Bad Remix,” before bringing out J Balvin for an exclusive first preview of their upcoming collaboration, “Tonto,” which is set for release on February 26.
The on-stage moment arrived shortly after “Tonto” had already sparked conversation online earlier this week, following a viral social media teaser from the pair. The unreleased song also opens with an intro from Balvin’s son, Rio.
The upcoming collab follows Castro’s latest smash, “La Villa,” which continues its dominant run worldwide. The record peaked at No. 31 on Spotify’s Global Chart, has generated over 4 million TikTok creations using the official audio, and has reached No. 1 across multiple markets in Latin America. Fueled by viral momentum through its dance challenge, the song has become one of the strongest Latin crossover records of the moment.

In addition, Castro’s collaboration with Aria Vega, “Chevere Premium Remix,” has emerged as a viral hit, peaking at No. 2 on Spotify Colombia. The pair debuted the track live for the first time last week at Barranquilla’s iconic Carnaval. Driven by the Caribbean influences of both Ryan Castro and Aria Vega, the record builds on the momentum of Castro’s latest two albums, Sendé and Hopi Sendé.
Currently on the Sendé World Tour across Latin America, Ryan Castro is set to perform at Sueños Festival in Chicago this May, on a lineup that includes Saturday headliner, J Balvin. Follow Ryan Castro for all tour dates and future updates.
