Grammy-winning artist Mura Masa is proving it’s never too late to drop a high contender for song of the summer.
Today, the Guernsey-born electronic producer is sharing his new single, “I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again” featuring Clairo and it’s so good. Watch the Thomas Hardiman-directed video below.
In his first single since his 2017 debut album, Mura Masa draws influences of distorted guitars from early 2000s punk and new wave, giving them a head-turning new twist. Blended with glitchy glam-rock electronica and Clairo’s signature soft voice, the new single welcomes an exciting and experimental new sound for Mura Masa that you need to check out.
Following a massive headline set at Primavera’s Amphitheatre, Mura Masa continues a global run of dates this summer with a headline slot at the BBC Radio 1 stage at Reading & Leeds Festival this weekend. Additional confirmed shows include a Mura Masa-curated Manchester Warehouse Project with Black Midi, Nao, Joy Orbison, Jadu Heart and more on October 18, plus Pitchfork Paris later in the year with many more to follow soon.
