Their Liquify EP is out on July 5th
Rising queer pop musician Mood Killer is releasing their new single and accompanying video for “Cam Boy.” The track is produced by OREN and Shane Clay and is Mood Killer’s poppiest work yet – hooky and emotional with dark undertones.
The track follows the May release of “Liquify” off their forthcoming EP by the same name, which is due on July 5th. Watch the Mood Killer, Dorian Electra, Weston Allen co-directed “Cam Boy” video below.
On “Cam Boy,” Mood Killer is exploring the relationship with the viewer and viewed through the story of a cybersex webcam model. The dark pop track follows a non-binary “Cam Boy” as they go through a typical workday. Despite the annoyances of the job, they find fulfillment and self-actualization in the process of performing for the camera.
Last year, the rising pop artist joined Dorian Electra and Charli XCX for a series of performance around the U.S. and Europe. They’ve also shared the stage with Kim Petras, Allie X, Daya, Pussy Riot, and more. Stream “Cam Boy” on Spotify.
