Journey’s 60-date tour ends August 11: See Tickets
The Final Frontier Tour stop in Washington, D.C., on March 4, 2026, was a heartfelt farewell to Journey and their long legacy. Capital One Arena was filled with longtime fans, and the performance carried a strong emotional weight from start to finish as the band led their final run on stage.
From the very beginning, the energy was undeniable. Guitarist Neal Schon delivered powerful solos, while vocalist Arnel Pineda impressed with his ability to honor the band’s iconic sound. Keyboardist Jonathan Cain helped drive the melodies, supported by Deen Castronovo, Jason Derlatka, and Todd Jensen. Together, they created a performance that felt heartwarming and truly memorable.
The setlist was packed with beloved hits from the past five decades. Each one ignited massive sing-alongs that filled the arena. The crowd’s enthusiasm with every song shows how deeply Journey’s music continues to connect across generations of fans.
At the same time, there was a lingering sense of sadness. Knowing this was part of their final tour made each moment feel more meaningful. By the end of the night, the excitement gave way to reflection, leaving the audience with a bittersweet appreciation for a legendary band taking its final bow. Thankfully, there’s one final chance to see this epic band live. Journey is on tour across the U.S. through mid-August. See all remaining tour dates and tickets at journeymusic.com.
