CORTIS Release Second EP, ‘GREENGREEN’: Listen

CORTIS (MARTIN, JAMES, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON, and KEONHO) have released their 2nd EP GREENGREEN, presenting a clearer definition of what the group stands for through their own creative choices.

Building on the ambition of their debut EP COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, GREENGREEN moves from stepping outside convention to actively shaping their own space, driven by creative ownership across every layer of production.

At the center of the EP is “REDRED,” the lead single, which was pre-released on April 20. The track contrasts green and red to express the group’s personal standards—what they choose to stand for and what they choose to push back against. With all five members contributing to both lyrics and composition, it serves as the conceptual starting point of GREENGREEN, setting the tone for a project that reflects CORTIS’s increasingly refined creative direction.

Since its release, “REDRED” has shown steady traction across global streaming platforms, maintaining momentum on major global charts such as Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global and Apple Music’s Top 100: Global, with Spotify monthly listeners reaching a new peak of 8.7 million, up from 7.6 million ahead of the release. In parallel, pre-orders for the EP have crossed the 2 million mark within approximately two weeks of opening, while also surpassing 1 million pre-saves and ranking No. 2 on Spotify’s global Countdown Chart.

This momentum is supported by the group’s growing presence on global stages. Earlier this year, CORTIS headlined the Opening Night of the NBA Crossover Concert Series during NBA All-Star 2026 as the first K-pop act to lead the event, before returning the following day for the NBA All-Star Game halftime show.

This summer, they are also set to make their Lollapalooza debut in Chicago, joining a lineup that includes Charli xcx, Tate McRae, and Lorde.

As their global profile expands, GREENGREEN reflects a more introspective shift in CORTIS’s artistry. Having grown through their debut era, the members now present a clearer sense of what defines them as a team. Their sense of taste and creative standards has become more refined, alongside a sharper awareness of what they choose to embrace and what they choose to leave behind. Stripping away what no longer resonates, the group arrives at a body of work shaped entirely by intention and selection.

That process carries through the EP’s six tracks, each representing a distinct facet of their evolving identity. “TNT” captures the spark of raw potential, with five restless voices coming together in the studio where instinct and energy take over. The lead single “REDRED” lays out the group’s perspective on what they lean into and push back against. “ACAI” turns a daily ritual into something personal, layering the group’s individual tastes into a sound that feels casual yet intentional. “YOUNGCREATORCREW” reflects their ambivalence toward the label itself, embracing it while pushing back against being defined by a single idea. “Wassup” leans into movement and momentum, capturing the group’s drive to keep going without losing their sense of self. “Blue Lips” sits in contrast, tracing the quieter aftermath of that drive and the realization that what you invest in most can leave the deepest marks.

Among them, “TNT,” released today alongside the EP with its official music video, captures CORTIS at their most explosive and unfiltered. The video follows the group as they are pursued by more than 500 people, building a sense of scale and intensity that mirrors the track. At its core, the song centers on a moment in the studio when that energy begins to take shape, with lines such as “Five brats in a room every night / At the studio PC waking their DNA,” embodying their boldness, confidence, and fearless approach to music.
