This past Saturday marked a career milestone for British singer-songwriter, producer, dancer, and actress FKA twigs, who performed to a sold-out stadium at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The feat follows her GRAMMY win for Best Dance/Electronic Album for her iconic 2025 album EUSEXUA. The artist performed songs from all albums and projects spanning her 14-year career, as well as several unreleased songs that tease a forthcoming new era from the polymath, including a song called “Bluebird.”

The Body High tour exemplifies FKA twigs’ expert worldbuilding with immersive performances that peel back the layers to reveal the core ethos of EUSEXUA in real time. Underscoring that thesis, twigs brought out several acclaimed voguers and MCs from New York’s ballroom scene, which pointed back to her exceptional background in vogueing and her intent to create safe spaces at her concerts.

In a moving speech before performing a stripped-back version of the EUSEXUA track “Sticky,” FKA twigs addressed the crowd, saying, “New York has always been a home away from home. [New York] has always been the first place to really understand me.” Following the historic performance, the show received rave reviews from i-D, Rolling Stone, Alt Press, and The Guardian, the latter of which described her show at MSG as “an Olympian display of pop prowess,” with a rating of 5/5 stars.

Launched on March 14th in Miami at Factory Town, The Body High tour serves as a culmination of all that FKA twigs has represented to culture over the last decade. These once-in-a-lifetime performances highlight the iconoclast’s exceptional skills in Wushu, opera, visual arts, vogueing, pole dancing, and her classically trained background in dance, the latter of which earned her a debut solo as a dancer and guest honoree with the Martha Graham Dance Company in 2024.

She will continue the tour with performances in Toronto, Chicago on Thursday, March 26th (Tickets), Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Las Vegas, and San Francisco before setting her sights on Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this April. She is joined by Tokischa, Eartheater, and Brutalismus 3000 on select dates of the North American leg.
