Lollapalooza Just Dropped Its 2026 Lineup and We’re Losing It

Lollapalooza 2026 is on July 30 – August 2: Tickets

It’s here. The lineup we’ve been refreshing our feeds for — and Lollapalooza 2026 did not come to play. The annual Chicago institution just unveiled its full bill for this summer’s four-day run at Grant Park, and it is stacked. Like, print the poster, frame it, and count down the days stacked. Let’s get into it.

The Headliners Are a Statement

You could not have written a more perfect set of 2026 headliners if you tried. Charli XCX is an extremely exciting choice after BRAT became one of the most culturally dominant runs in recent memory. Who will do the “Apple” dance at Lolla?! It’s going to be mayhem.

Lorde returning to the festival circuit feels like a cultural event in itself; her headline slot will likely be one of the most emotional sets of the summer. And The Smashing Pumpkins bringing their legacy to Grant Park — in their hometown, no less — is the kind of full-circle moment that gives you chills.

Tate McRae returning to headline is confirmation of what we’ve long known: she’s the moment and has crossed over from pop darling to arena-level force. Jennie on that same bill signals just how global this lineup is — her solo trajectory has been relentless and her Lolla set will be unmissable. The XX closing things out brings a rare, hushed intensity to a festival that usually leans loud. And John Summit headlining is a massive win for dance music fans — Chicago representing its own house music roots in the most fitting way possible. Olivia Dean rounds out the headliners as a genuine breakout moment. She’s been building toward this and it’s great to see.

The Mid-Card Is Ridiculous

This is where the lineup gets almost unfair. Ethel Cain, Wet Leg, Little Simz, Wolf Alice, Beabadoobee, Suki Waterhouse, Blood Orange, Clipse, Freddie Gibbs, Lil Uzi Vert, Major Lazer, Empire of the Sun — that’s basically five different festival lineups collapsed into one.

K-pop fans are getting another year of incredible artists with Aespa, I-DLE, YOASOBI, ADO, and SB19 make this one of the most internationally diverse Lolla lineups in years.

The Chainsmokers, Alison Wonderland, and Boris Brejcha will have one corner of the park going absolutely feral. Viagra Boys, Hot Mulligan, The Story So Far, Loathe — the rock and punk contingent is well-represented and will be throwing themselves around gratefully. Mother Mother making the bill feels long overdue and will draw a crowd that’s been waiting years for this.

Deep Cuts Worth Your Attention

This is the part of any Lolla lineup that separates the casual attendees from the obsessives, and 2026 has some genuinely exciting names in the smaller print.

Slayyyter, Frost Children, Ninajirachi, and Snow Strippers represent a whole lane of hyperpop and experimental club music that will make stages feel like club nights in the best possible way. Amber Mark will be a statement performance. Wunderhorse is a word-of-mouth darling that’s about to get a lot louder. Paris Paloma, CMAT, and Spacey Jane have cult followings that will show up in droves.

ADÉLA, Nettspend, Khamari, and Leon Thomas are the four names to screenshot and remember. ADÉLA is doing something genuinely exciting in the electropop space — unpredictable, forward-thinking, and a festival set could be the moment she breaks wide open. Nettspend is doing something genuinely exciting in the hyper-rap/hyperpop space; his slot will be chaotic in the best way. Khamari is one of the most compelling R&B storytellers to emerge in recent years, and Leon Thomas — who’s been behind some of the biggest records of the last few years as a writer and featured artist — is stepping into his own spotlight. Don’t sleep on any of them.

The Verdict

Lollapalooza 2026 is the rare festival announcement that feels genuinely exciting across genres, generations, and fandoms. Whether you’re coming for the headliners, the underground dance acts, the K-pop stages, or to stumble across something you’ve never heard of and leave obsessed — this lineup has a lane for you.
