Argentine duo CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso won their first GRAMMY
Last night, Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso won Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album at the 2026 GRAMMY® Awards for PAPOTA. The duo also unveiled a new look on stage as they hint at their next era.
The win follows a historic sweep at the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards. With 10 nominations—the most ever for an Argentine project in a single year—the duo took home five major awards: Best Short Form Music Video (“#TETAS”), Best Long Form Music Video (PAPOTA), Best Pop Song (“EL DÍA DEL AMIGO”), Best Alternative Music Album(PAPOTA), and Best Alternative Song (“#TETAS”).
They followed up their Latin GRAMMY® success with the release of their latest single “GIMME MORE,” a song that confronts the relentless hunger of success and the addictive momentum of their rise. The accompanying music video follows the duo from their victorious Latin GRAMMY night into a chaotic, euphoric afterparty as they gambled through the MGM casino floor with their signature chads, took a helicopter flight over the city, all before hauling their stage design into the desert to set it ablaze. As the flames consume the remnants of their past era, CA7RIEL & Paco perform in front of the burning installation, signaling the shift to the next phase of their careers in the wake of PAPOTA.
The dual GRAMMY® triumphs punctuate a breakthrough year for the duo defined by the viral success of their Tiny Desk performance, their acclaimed PAPOTA EP, and the PAPOTA Tour, their most ambitious run yet with more than 60 shows across four continents, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Fuji Rock, Outside Lands, Montreux, and six editions of Lollapalooza. In 2026, it’s official—the Latin Chaddys have arrived. Stay tuned for what they do next.
