Kevin Abstract, Dominic Fike release video for new track “Geezer”

Kevin Abstract and Dominic Fike have reunited for “Geezer,” a poignant new single that marks their first collaboration since 2019’s “Peach.” The track arrives alongside a stripped-back video and previews Abstract’s upcoming solo album BLUSH, out June 27 via his newly launched label, Juno.
Directed by Jack Begert and Reed Bennett, the “Geezer” visual sees the duo singing from the front seat of a car as Abstract drives, much like old friends retracing their youth. It’s breezy and nostalgic, but there’s tension beneath the surface. The track pairs a mellow, guitar-led groove with lyrics that reflect on faded relationships, unfulfilled potential, and growing up in small towns where time seems to stand still.
The single offers a compelling preview of BLUSH—a collective album that finds Abstract back in the producer’s chair, firing on all cylinders. The project blends inventive sonic textures with wide-ranging collaborations, featuring artists like Quadeca, JPEGMAFIA, Sekou, Danny Brown, and rising voices from his hometown of Houston. If “Geezer” is any indication, BLUSH promises to be one of Abstract’s most collaborative and creatively charged releases yet.
