See Tame Impala at Weekend 2 of Coachella: TICKETS
Ahead of their headline slots at Coachella this weekend and next, Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) have shared their latest single, “Borderline.” The psych-rockers first debuted the track during their SNL appearance a few weeks ago but are now sharing the official audio and it’s undeniably Tame Impala at their best.
“Borderline” is a blissful track ready to erupt on Coachella’s main stage. The new track showcases Parker flexing his lyrical and production muscles with ease, delivering the poetic introspection he’s become known for and an over-indulgent sound with house-inspired instrumentation, buzzing guitars, and a gritty synth to complement the track’s catchy chorus. The new single follows the Aussie’s March release of “Patience,” the group’s first release of new music in nearly four years.
In addition to Coachella, Tame Impala will headline Shaky Knees, Boston Calling, Barcelona’s Primavera Festival, Glastonbury, Splendour In The Grass, Lollapalooza, and more, with festival and headline dates planned throughout 2019. Full tour dates below.
